Privacy Policy

PCBWorld collects and processes information needed to operate accounts, product orders, payments, shipments, repair requests, AMC services, support enquiries and platform security.

Information we collect

This may include name, email, mobile number, account role, addresses, business and GST information, order and repair details, uploaded repair images, product-search images, payment references, shipment data, device information and security logs.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, resolve role pricing, fulfil orders, verify payments, create invoices, manage shipments, process repairs, communicate status changes, prevent fraud, answer enquiries and meet applicable accounting or legal obligations.

Image search

Temporary query images are validated, normalized and processed for local perceptual matching. The temporary query file is deleted after processing. Product image signatures and search tags remain part of the catalogue.

Payment and shipping providers

When enabled, required transaction or shipment information may be shared with Razorpay, Shiprocket, Shipway or a selected courier. PCBWorld does not place payment gateway secret keys in browser or mobile clients.

Data security and retention

Passwords and OTPs are stored using one-way protection. Sensitive configuration and KYC documents are restricted. Financial and order snapshots may be retained for accounting, dispute and compliance purposes even when catalogue data later changes.

Your choices

You may request correction of inaccurate profile information or contact PCBWorld about privacy questions. Some records cannot be deleted immediately where retention is required for completed financial, tax, warranty, repair or dispute records.
